What's going on? The freaking furniture just attacked!
Got my grades... finally!!!
And OMG! BIIIIIG WOOT! I think I might have actually made the Dean's List! Which would be really cool, and then I can count myself among my family members again, because they all made it at some point (hell, my mom made the President's List, at the age of 59 no less... what an admirable woman!). For those who don't know, the Dean's List is the top 10% of students for that semester (so there's a small chance I might not have made it... depending on what the cutoff GPA is, could be anywhere from 3.80 to 3.84 according to recent years, and I got a 3.83, soooooo.... yeah). If you get named to it, a notice goes on your permanent record, so it's very nice to have. And somehow, some people get this every time... I just do not understand how they do it!
Of course, this was also the easiest damn semester I've had since junior year of high school!

Art & Architecture: A
Shakespeare the Dramatist: B+
Britain Today: A
UK & EU Integration: A
Don't ASK me why the most easy-going, laid-back professor graded the hardest on everything. But, a C+ and B- on 2 papers, an A on the midterm averaged to a B+? Must mean I got an A on the final as well. Which I rather expect I did.
*doing the most crazy happy dance of my life!*
And I practiced today. Should make my mum happy.
OOOH, and I started on my London Scrapbook, which is currently taking up an entire BOX of stuff... whoa, it's going to take me a year to get it done, but that's okay... I'll do a lot in the next few days.
Am now trying to get tickets to see The Lion King when my parents and I are going to be in Seattle next weekend. Hehehehehehehe... happy birthday to me! I think my birthday dinner may be at this new barbeque place in town that's supposed to be fantastic...how Wenatchee is that?!?!
I have the doofiest grin on my face right now. And am sitting here, eating chips and salsa, about to watch Charmed, with a nice warm Cuddly Bear on my icy-cold footsies, and would be as happy as I can be at the moment, except for the fact that it's single-digit-degrees here, and therefore I can't feel my toes. <3 having a room in the basement!!! Brrrrr...need a nice warm body to heat me up...any volunteers out there? .....out there.... out there... Hey! it's echoing in cyberspace, where'd everybody go? Meanies. Other than that, life is quite livable at the moment
This all calls for a new round of icons! The one currently shown is just the way I'm feeling right now... rip off my clothes and jump down the road! =D The other two are Capricorn icons, because my birthday is on Saturday...wheeee! And BIG BIRTHDAY SHOUTOUTS to dancingdrew and periwinklemist today and yesterday, respectively!!!
