Prom 2005
Prom was so much fun! Kirk and I went together but that much you knew. Here's the rundown of the evening.
8:30 am-Rolled out of bed and hopped in shower in preperation of being beautified. Ate some breakfast so I wouldn't faint in the middle of my nail/hair appointment.
9:30-Left the house and picked up Kirk's flower. Then ran to Carly's so we could go to the nail appointment in Chapin.
11:00-Got the nails taken care of but it started pouring down rain. It was very interesting getting my nails done. It was the first time I'd even done it and the lady wouldn't talk to me. But the nails are pretty and I love them.
1:00-Got my hair done. The lady has been doing my hair forever and she was very happy to do it for me this year. She tied it into knots and braids and fun stuff. Then my mom and I ate at Carolina Wings b/c I was starving!
*edit*-I hate guys because my brother and I were going to the same prom. But while I was doing all of the above, he was laying on the couch, sleeping, etc. He took 30 minutes to get ready. Grrr.
4:00-Began the makeup process. Had this great lipstick from MaxFactor. Lipfinity. This stuff does not come off! Eating, drinking, kissing, what have you, it does not come off! It's awesome.
5:00-After seeing my aunt and taking pictures, went and picked up Kirk. Our flowers matched! It was cute. Be both got each other red carnations.
6:00-Met up with Connor & Alexis, Jason & Marissa, and Ashton & Carly at Rusty Anchor for dinner. We took pictures on the deck. It was sooooo beautiful. The food was good too.
8:00-Arrived at prom and had more pictures taken. We also had the formal pictures done. For the remainder of prom, we danced, talked, laughed and had a really good time. They didn't play any really good music that we could dance to without looking like we were humping each other. They had this strawberry tower and that was really yummy.
12:00-Left the prom and went to my house for breakfast. John went bowling so we had the house to ourselves (excepting the parental units.)
3:00 am-People left and I fell into bed. Good night!
