friday i'm in love
yesterday was a day full of amazing, really great things.
first, we took the kids on a field trip to eskape (bowling/laser tag/batting cages/arcade). they did such a great job together; it was so cute i think my heart melted. i did two rounds in the batting cages and bowled my worst game ever. the girls totally dominated in the battting cages so we are gonna start having baseball/softball games once it gets nice out.
then, we went to burger king (their choice, barf)
after lunch, one of the girls and i spent an hour playing with puppies at a pet store. they tried to eat my sleeve.
they tried to eat her hair.
oscar's home from the earth first! journal in tucson so i hung out with him after work. we listened to "horses in the sky" and i showed him the artwork for it. somebody made this journal for him. i don't know if i love the pot leaves or the stars of david more.
i got to see his mom, who i always wished would adopt me. and then we went to pita inn. after sharing falafel sandwiches, a hommus plate, and baklava, oscar combed his moustache with his titanium spork.
then i drove back to crystal lake and slept for a long, long time.
