Madonna
Ok so on saturday me and Jo went to see madonnna at Wembly arena. Yes the tickets were too expensive and yes I didn't want to pay 25 quid for a program and 40 quid for a tshirt. But to give the show its due it was nothing short of what I would expect from a madonna show. From beginning to end it was visually stunning. The songs that she sung (all 22 of em) were more recent with a few slightly older ones being thrown in (la isla bonita, lucky star, erotica, live to tell) aside those it was all from her recent album, good job then that album is a good one :).
There was this on bit where she comes down the runway in a white suit doing disco dancing with too female dancers with guys on rollerscates doing backflips etc, awesome !!. I'm not a die hard fan but I was entertained and forgot the whole weekend cost 400 quid !
Now moving on why oh why did it cost 19.99 (in total) for me and jo to go down on the train but it cost (on the same train) the next day 250 quid to come back, needless to say we got the coach back, even that was quite a good journey from victoria after the mad dash at the station. I can also report that the travel lodge just outside kings cross is great value for money and unusally for travel lodges we got two towels.
I am glad i went I had a great time, allthough 150 quid a ticket, c'mmon its expensive ain't it !
