Thanksgiving 2007
Taking a day or two off from work and it feels pretty good! Visiting some relatives as The Triad and it's gone very well. We took care to not talk about politics. We worked a 1000 piece crossword puzzle that right now maddenly has only about 40 pieces left but they are the hardest of all, the ones with all solid color of the blue sky.
I miss my own family, I didn't see them this holiday. So I'm a bit depressed about that.
We'll head back in an hour or two. We're NOT going shopping today except for one book store. Then, a lot of car riding/ driving as we'll be quite a while travelling back.
I was disappointed to have not written any story this week, at least yesterday I had the time to work on one, but I just relaxed and didn't.
This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for;
-S. and D.
-My good health - i'm in especially good shape this year
-A warm place to stay that's not too far from work
-Good friends that are super and smart
-My sixth grade teacher, Mr Barry (taught English and lots more.)
-Work/job that seems to be working out
