Found this hundred-and-five-year-old history textbook in the guestroom - the pictures are amazing, but some of the text (the chapter on Amerindians, specifically) is horrifically offensive.
Not that I suppose I have the right to comment, being the whitest white girl ever.
But! Spent much of the afternoon loving due South. I haven't ever seen the show, of course, but I feel like I have. And SG:A, too, which I need to catch up on - only in the loosest sense, since I mildly hate them for what they did to Ford, but still.
Wednesday last, Julie tried to make me talk. Didn't work too well; she started me off on Data's life history, but I only got to the Crystalline Entity's attack on Omicron Theta before we got distracted by her nephew. I didn't even get to explain about the whole Juliana-Tainer-escape-pod-android thing. **gnashes teeth**
If you haven't seen Serenity, I am (want to be) very annoyed with you. **growls**
I must read Middlemarch.
