I've made remarkable progress on the latest weird hybrid critter in the ol' book. 'Tis an eagle-lion-person mixture (is there a name for that?) with two decently drawn hands and a really big axe.
Also in the works is a werewolf girl, based off the White-Wolf RPG concept. **grins** I found the character sheet for the Werewolf: The Apocalypse game, and the corresponding site, through Google and some huge database of RPG 'sheets. Dorky? Me? ... Not even a little bit. ^^
Added to the loot list, because they just arrived in the mail, are (squee!) the soundtrack of Bend it Like Beckham and (squee!) the soundtrack to Prince of Egypt. Plus my dad found a cheap copy of School of Rock - I love that movie.
My dad took me along on a forced hike around the woods by our house. ... Well, I exaggerate; it wasn't that bad. We saw a bunch of deer tracks, and I made a note to myself of this lovely little natural spring that used to be the source of water for a house (all that's left are the foundations, now). And I only froze part of my face off. **laughs**
I'm pondering getting a DA account; unfortunately, I don't know how much use I'll get out of it if I can only use the school scanners. Plus, I think it's sort of a risk; if anybody ever flames me, I frankly doubt that I'll be able to get over it. **flutters eyelashes** I'm sensitive that way. I just hope I have the sense to discriminate between constructive criticism and actual flames.
Then again, most interesting stuff is risky by nature.
