THE TREE
1. When do you put up the Christmas tree? Depends, usually the first or second weekend in Dec at home, but here, heck, it's right after Halloween!
2. Real or Fake? Both places, it's fake.
3. Lights? What color? Multi-colored here, white at home.
4. Garland? Yes, *sigh* I hate garland.
5. Theme or no theme? Nope, not really. Especially not in Rochester. lol
6. What kind of topper? Both have an 8-pointed star, and we also have an angel at home.
7. What's your favorite ornament? Probably the one I got when I was a baby.
8. What does your tree skirt look like? Crocheted white at home, and the quillow I made roomie here.
9. Where do you put your tree? Here, between TV and the counter, at home, in the corner of the family room.
10. Who decorates the tree? All of us! No one's left out.
11. What's "under" the tree? Nothing until the presents. ;)
12. Do you put candy canes on your tree? Only fake ones.
THE FOOD
1. What's your favorite Christmas cookie? spritz!!!! all the way the best EVER!
2. Do you bake cookies and give them away? Yuppers
3. Any "special" foods or candy that you only have at Christmas time? Hmmm. Christmas tree shaped cinnamon rolls and cornish game hens
4. What do you eat on Christmas Eve? cornish game hens, stuffing, fruit salad, cheesecake
5. What do you eat on Christmas day? lasagna, salad, bread
6. Do you like Eggnog? not really, no
7. Do you like candy canes? not really, no
THE DECORATIONS
1. Where do you hang your stockings? on the plant table in the living room, or here, on the living room wall by the ceiling, lol
2. Do you put lights on your house? around the front door, on the garage
3. Got any outside lawn decorations? not unless you count our pine tree in the front yard
4. Do you put up a nativity? two, the traditional and the precious moments
5. Do you hang mistletoe under the door? nope
6. Got a wreath on your front door? umm, how about over it? it's under jared's window, over the door
7. How long does it take you to decorate? depends, usually get it done in an afternoon
MOVIES AND SHOWS
1. Favorite Children's Xmas TV show/cartoon? Charlie Brown!
2. Wonderful Life or Miracle on 34th Street? Eh, I don't really care for either.
3. Favorite Christmas movie? Hmm, The Night They Saved Christmas
4. Have you ever seen the Nutcracker Ballet live? Once
5. Ever been to the Radio City Music Hall Christmas show? Nope
6. Ever gone to the movies on Christmas Day? Nope
7. Did you know it's the biggest day of the box-office? Hmm, nope.
OTHER STUFF!
1. Favorite Christmas book or story? The real Christmas story, duh. But other than that, I think it's called "The Gift."
2. Do you stuff your stockings with any types of food? Only if you count candy.
3. Do you go to church on Christmas or Christmas Eve? Christmas Eve without fail
4. Have you ever gone Caroling? Uh huh ;)
5. Favorite Christmas Carol? I have so many! Angels We Have Heard On High
6. Do you believe in Santa? Sometimes :)
7. Do you leave Santa cookies? I pretend with Beth
8. What about Rudolph? Leave him anything? Occasionally a carrot
9. What was your best Christmas gift? Oh man, my parents and my friends are great so I can't name one.
10. What was the worst/most odd gift? Hmmm, I'll get back to you on that one.
11. Do you go to a "work" Christmas party? Nope, lowly deli girls aren't invited to Wegmans corporate parties
12. Do you like/hate going to the "work" Christmas Party? Ha.
13. Do you send Christmas cards? Yup, usually, however late they are
