Another week.
Classes have been going pretty well. I'm better at clarinet and trumpet this week than last. Orchestration seems fun, history is the same as always, I'm going to want to kick my ed psych prof by the end of the semester, but I LOVE wind ensemble! :)
Friday night Dustin came home with me to Rochester. We got to my high school in time to hear them play the last 30 or so measures of their field show. 2nd time in 2 years man. Daddy decided he couldn't fix my computer so he gave me his, which was great. I called to get an appt for Dman to get his hair cut, and they thought he was under 10 just 'cause he didn't call himself, apparently, it was funny. But I have a working computer.
Except for the fact that I told it to go into "sleep" mode after a half an hour, and now even when you reboot it, it won't load Windows. *sigh* Any help with this is appreciated. I feel really stupid right now.
Sunday we (Dman, Jill, roomie, and I) headed out to Clearfield to Andy's house. Yay for campfires and hot dogs and smores. :) Monday we all drove down to Hershey Park. I had to go and be a scaredy cat, I couldn't stomach any rollercoasters, so I opted out of them... Which meant I spent most of the day just chilling... But it's okay 'cause I still had the greatest time with some great friends. Yay for carousels and swings. :)
TBS rush nights have been this week, I'm excited about them. :) The kids that have been coming seem awesome and I can't wait to see how many are really interested. I love the MC period. :)
Band has been going pretty well. First game is on Sat, I'm kinda in a dilemma about how to fix the problems my section is having, but we're doing okay. I think once we perform for the first time, it'll be all good.
That's probably a long enough update.
OH! BTW, Tau Beta Sigma is selling red NEVER WALK ALONE bracelets (like the Livestrong ones) for $5. We are donating all of the proceeds to our music department for up to 5 scholarships to enable students with special needs to come to the MU Summer Music Camps, and are working on getting a charity to double what we fundraise. If you or anyone you know wants a bracelet, let one of the sisters know. We'd be happy to sell you one.
Love you guys.
