The angst! The slow, delicious angst! My heart's just going frannnnnnnnnnnk :(((((! I loved how the accident just happened so quick like a trainwreck and the both of you built this crazy...intensity that just sucked me in and I kept fretting about the ending but yay for MCR being this FAMILY and getting their shit together..... &hearts! It ended awesomely. Very very awesomely (YAY FOR CORTEZ FILLING IN. I HAVE MAD LOVE FOR HIM)
This rendered me to pieces. In the absolute best way. It destroyed me to have to watch Frank go through that, but he has Gerard, and in the end all they need is each other. So basically I LOVE THIS AND I LOVE BOTH YOUR FACES UUUUUUUUGH. ♥_______♥
Wow, you guys. This was intense to read and I'm sure it was just as, if not more, intense to write. In certain scenes, the drift between Gerard and Frank was almost tangible, in the way that you feel a tightness in your chest and throat when you're about to cry. Frank's anger being misdirected, and Gerard's helpless desperation...oh my, what a painful combination.
It's no secret that my favourite part of pretty much any story is the ending: it makes it or breaks it for me. And here, it made it. Despite being a heartbreaking thought, I think it was beautifully executed, with Frank realizing that when one thing is taken away from you, you're given something else that could leave you just as content.
I think it's a beautiful message to send out to us readers, and I adore you both for it. Thank you! ♥♥♥
