Relatively good
This weekend was full of relatives.
Laura came to mine for the weekend, and we went and partied with her step-brother (Dave Buxton who I know from work) and some of his mates. There were fire poi, and I had a go or two. Remarkably, I am still alive and completely un-singed.
On Saturday we went to her mum's place for lunch and chat.
Then on Sunday we paid a visit to the ice rink and spent a couple of fun hours skating before coming home and researching then booking a holiday to Geneva, then a game of Mah-Johng with my parents.
In between all this wild running around, I managed to have a couple of not-too-stilted conversations with my grandparents who were staying for the weekend too.
Pleasant, relaxing, good.
