Progress report
Initial indications are that tonight's experiment was a near-total success.
Antonia (the girl from the club last Saturday) and I went out, drank some non-alcoholic drinks in a very nice pub, talked freely and comfortably about many things, and generally got on well. She's pretty, and agnostic, so that's two of my three criteria checked (met required minimum in "religion", and much better than minimum in "looks" :-D ), leaving only one to check before it's all green lights on this one.
Just as important as the checklist approach (if not more so) is the fact that we got on well. I have a feeling she'll fit in with the guys (Jin, Adam, Chris, and me) very well indeed.
What's the catch?
