"What's there to get, Jacob? We've gone over this," she whimpered, collapsing on the couch. Jacob started pacing in front of her and Bella could feel the heat radiating off his skin.

"What can I do? What is there else to do?" he mumbled to himself, shaking his head while his black hair whipped around furiously.

Bella stared up at him in disbelief, her eyes wide with wonder.

"Convince me to stay."
