Awww! ♥ I was burned out by the end, but now it's been nearly 5 years and I do kinda miss it too. I am lowkey thinking about reviving it on dreamwidth, but I cannot promise anything at this point. :)

Anya wrinkled her nose at the smell inside the rattling elevator. She sighed; it was taking forever to get to her floor and her bag was heavy. She didn't want to put it down on the floor of questionable cleanliness though, so she held on to the strap with whitening knuckles.

Finally the elevator jerked to a stop and Anya stepped out into the hallway, her bag in one hand and her keys in the other. Anya's plan was to become a trendy and popular young woman and her new apartment was an illegal sublet in a trendy part of town - according to the half-demon realtor. If the Slayer could stop the ascension - Anya scoffed quietly to herself; unless Buffy could pull a volcano out of her back pocket, she didn't stand a chance - maybe she'd live long enough to become trendy and popular and possibly rich.

Anya glanced up to see a guy about her age - her human age - with a guitar hanging from his shoulders. He looked ordinary enough, but the words were strange ( ... )
