Challenge 18 - Crossing into Christmas
Description:
- This is a one-shot writing challenge, where you have two options to inspire your story.
Requirements:
Option A - You can write a crossover story that involves at least two separate shows/movies/video games/etc. It doesn't have to make sense why the character(s) is there, it just has to be clear that two fandoms have smushed together.
For Example: I wrote this wacky story years ago where Stitch (Lilo & Stitch) is wandering around Derek Shepherd's (Grey's Anatomy) OR while he's in surgery, asking questions. Does it make sense? No. Is it funny? Absolutely.
Option B - You can write a story involving some Christmas element. Opening presents, Christmas dinner, a mistletoe element, decorating the christmas tree, putting up lights, decorating the house, etc. This one can involve a crossover if you want, but isn't a requirement. It can be one character, two characters, whatever.
- Your story must be 500 words minimum, up to a maximum of 3,000 words for points. If you want your story to be longer, go for it. You just won't get points.
- You can write up to two stories. One of each, or two of one.
- If the story will fit in team thread comment, then post it there. If it's too long, then post it to your journal, the keepers_log, or one of the various fanfiction sites and link us there.
Points:
20 = for 500 words
5 = per 50 words after
1 = for using a sigtag
TOTAL: 20 - 321 for one story
TOTAL: 40 - 641 for two stories
