Challenge 09: Triple Prompt, Part 2
- I collected all the prompts you submitted in Part 1 and made an alphabetical list with the duplicates removed. (I'll paste it under a cut at the bottom of this post.) Let's see what happens now. :D
Description:
- Comment on the "gimme words" thread and I will randomize the list and give you 3 words.
- The catch is that you need to make only one work (story, graphic or anything else you like) using all 3 prompts.
- The minimum for writing is 50 words. There's no minimum for graphics (if you can fit all 3 prompts in 1 icon, more power to you :D).
- You can use any meaning of the words you can think of, including an obscure one or a fandom-specific one. You can use them to inspire any part of your work (the medium, the mood, the color scheme, as an actual throwaway word in your story, etc.)
For example (using words that are not actually on the list), if you get the words "dog, sailing, purple", you can make something with a purple dog sailing (which doesn't sound very easy), you can make something with a dog sailing and have the graphic itself be purple (which sounds easier), or you can go with "sea dog" meaning "sailor", and simply have a graphic of a sailor in purple tones (the easiest, I think). If you write, you don't have to use the words in the actual text of the story, but obviously you can.
- If the way you used your words seems convoluted to you (like in my last example above), feel free to explain your choices. It's not required, though.
- If you get a word that is triggering or otherwise makes you uncomfortable, tell me and I'll randomize you another one.
- Your work can be fannish or not, it's up to you.
- Post your entry as a comment to your team thread or as a separate post elsewhere (such as keepers_log, your own lj, ao3 or tumblr) and link it in your team thread.
- Please keep in mind that if you comment too close to the deadline I might not be able to randomize words for you. To be safe try to ask 2 or 3 days before the deadline at the latest.
- You can definitely participate in Part 2 if you didn't participate in Part 1.
