So just to be clear, we comment at the end of the month with our calendar and art/writing? Or can we post as the days go on? Like I would assume that each day has art or writing or whatever, so you complete it, but at the end you list what you did. So where does the art or writing that we did do go?
Or better question, can I just post day to day or when I participate on the days I participate on here? Or create a post on keepers log linking it here?
Ohhhh.... the advent calendar things are not related to the community. That makes more sense in regards to the honour part of the challenge. If it’s as simple as wearing holiday socks or clothes the day of then I see what you mean now.
The points are a little confusing to me but I may also just be really tired. The 10 points per each day you participate. So if say I participated in all 31 days, that would be 310, correct?
Then 5 for completing one task on the day. Is the other 5 points for completing tasks that weren’t listed on that day then? Like let’s say for example, day 1 has build a snowman, but you don’t build it until day 5 would you list it on day 5? Or is that not allowed? Doing other days on different days? If that made sense. Or is it purely a do it on the day it’s written on?
Sorry if I’m asking so many questions, I want to ensure I understand. Challenges that aren’t related to the community are super rare.
That's okay! That's why I posted it a bit early, so people can prepare or ask questions to get ready.
If you participate all 31 days, it is 310 points.
If you do two choices or more in one day, that's an extra five points for that day (so the day = 15 points instead of 10). You can do this for a maximum of 10 days.
If you do a choice that was from a different day, that's an extra five points for the day you did it, in addition to what you already earned for the day (so if you earned 10 regular points for the day, then = 15 points instead). You can do this for a maximum of 10 days. You may not do a choice more than once (in order for it to count).
You may overlap. No single day will be worth more than 20 points. 10 (regular) + 5 (more than one choice) + 5 (choice from different day).

This sounds like fun. So if say I do do a choice from a different day, do I list it on the day I did it on or the day it was on?
Choice is on Day 5, I complete it on Day 7. Do I list it on Day 5 or Day 7?
Hopefully last question: obviously there is a points cap but that doesn’t mean we can’t complete more than what points allow correct? We can do as many of them as we want, we just won’t get points for all of it? I have no idea what you might include but based on last years this looks like it’ll be fun.

Sweet. Can’t wait to see what you did for day 1.
Side question: The site you did it on, is it something anyone can edit. Make their own advent calendar? I honestly didn’t know it was possible so now I’m wondering if I can utilize it for myself and my family.
Could you please put this entry as a sticky so it stays at the top of the comm until December is over? It would be helpful and easier to get to the calendar.
I've done most activities during first half of December, but I got very sick during the second half (slowly coming back to health now) so I didn't organized things.

Or does it need to be cut-and-paste physical stuff?

If that's impossible, that's fine too...
