Hey all ~ since it is more than possible I will not be able to do anything with my family over the holidays, thought maybe I'd see if y'all have some time to spend with me.

*broccoli high-five* :D Also sushiiii! I had so many favorite foods I had to exclude, sushi is definitely one of them. Actually, I'd happily eat everything from your card, haha. :D

Broccoli is so good. I really like when it's cooked but still has a little crunch. I could probably come up with cards dedicated to each food on here separated into different specific items.

I have discovered the best way to cook broccoli: blanch it. I'm convinced this is what restaurants do instead of steaming. Boil water, then submerge the broccoli in it for a minute. It's absolutely perfect!

Yesssss, I could probably do a list of 9 items for any given food category and still have to leave something out. :D
It's funny how your food card could pretty much be my card, but from both of your fandom cards I only know Mariana, and only from The Fosters. (I am super interested in watching Good Trouble though, I just always forget. xD Any other recs? :D)

I was tempted to make a card of just types of pie.
I like how Good Trouble follows characters that started as kids into their adulthood. It's interesting. I was looking at my card, and out of what I mentioned, I'd recommend Stargirl and Timeless. Stargirl is so wholesome and fun, yet has intense action sequences that really utilize teamwork instead of just showing how cool an individual power is. I really like how Timeless captured different time periods in each episode, while still keeping focus on the main characters and their dynamics within the group.

Thank you! :D I had Timeless all lined up to watch last summer and then I watched something else instead (I think it was Little Witch Academia, which is like a totally different genre, lol) and forgot all about it. This is a good reminder to finally check it out! Stargirl is Arrowverse, right? I keep starting to watch different Arrowverse shows and so far nothing has actually stuck (though I kinda vicariously watch Legends of Tomorrow, lol), but this one does sound fun. :D

Oh my, are we talking abut cheese soup with leek and minced meat (Käsesuppe mit Hackfleisch und Lauch - von Knorr)? Cause if so, wow, I didn't even realize how much I missed that, I love it. I'm also gonna put Bratkartoffeln, I was gonna put fried potatoes, but I mean, we all know that's not the same. :D

Yes, that's the one, except homemade and not Knorr. Had it just last week and it was delicious as always.
I was gonna put fried potatoes too, but like you said: not the same thing. Maybe I should have said "grandma's Bratkartoffeln" because grandma's Bratkartoffeln are always the best. :D

Homemade for sure, those Knorr fix spice packets were just how I came across it first, lol.
Haha, yep, grandma's Bratkartoffeln, of course. So good! I just made some and they were amazing, it's still a bit of hit and miss when I make them but sometimes they're really perfect.

Same. Sometimes my Bratkartoffeln are amazing and other times they're ...edible. According to my grandma the key is being patient, so you need to have them in the pan for a long time over low heat, but I've been been very patient. :p
