Dear Consuela,
Probably you don't even really remember me, after all this time, and . . . I feel kind of strange writing this, but I wanted to say thank you. I remember when I was little, you used to say that "now I lay me down to sleep" prayer with me every night before bed.
You weren't the only nanny I had, and I know you only worked for my mother for a few months, but you were my favorite because of that. It really made me feel like I was safe and taken care of.
I wanted you to know, that's all. Thank you very much.
