RP Post: Comforting [locked to Blues-chan and V2]

Blues felt terrible after hearing about what had happened. Enzan in a fight, in Cross Fusion, meant V2 in a fight. And from all accounts, Enzan was pretty torn up. Not to mention V2 had been dealing with a lot lately anyway, what with the prank on Enzan and being concerned for him, and now they got roughed up? She had half a mind to seek out who

"I'm sure we will think of something." V2 slowly laid down on his back. "Maybe ask the Nexus for help or ideas later."

"Maybe," she agreed. "There's got to be something out there." Blues lay down as well, perfectly happy to be right there at that time. She was silent, not wanting to spoil the moment.

"Yup." V2 didn't move for a moment. Then something crossed his mind and he moved to his side and pulled Blues into a hug. It was a little awkward with their armor but not uncomfortable.

Blues hugged back. The thought of their armor making it uncomfortable wouldn't have crossed her mind. She was just happy that they were going to work something out. That didn't necessarily mean that everything was going to magically be all right, but there was no reason why it couldn't be, with a bit of work.

"Is he expecting you back soon?" she asked reluctantly.

V2 was able to relax and didn't move. His smile faded a little when he answered, "He won't know I am gone."

Blues was a little sorry for bringing it up when she saw his expression. "Oh..." She smiled lightly. "I'd notice if you left, though. So...don't, for a bit?"

That made V2 chuckle, "I wasn't planning on leaving anytime soon. Did I do something to make you think I was?"

"No. I was just hoping I hadn't given you the idea." Blues leaned her head on V2's shoulder. "And I'm glad you're not," she said softly.

"Oh, well-" V2 began to blush a little again. He held Blues tighter though he wasn't meaning to. "I'm...comfortable right here." He swallowed. "Right now."

Blues was blushing slightly too. "So am I," she said quietly. She was very comfortable, leaning into him like she was, and wasn't inclined to move any time soon.
