RP Post [Blues-chan, little Enzan, and V2]

As expected, when Blues stepped through the portal, her armor shimmered and transformed back into the PET, her 'real' armor rematerializing with her inside the device. It thankfully materialized only a foot off the ground, so there wasn't much of an impact when it hit. Not that she would've really felt it anyway

Enzan bent down and picked the PET up, inspecting it for damage. "We have got to fix that," he said thoughtfully. "I gave my last extention chip to my alt."

"How about ask the Blues that Dark Blues talked to when helping me?" V2 reached over with his free hand and lightly brushed some dirt away.

The PET wasn't damaged, but there was a couple of old scratch marks on it. It had certainly seen worse.

"Extension chip?" Blues decided to save that for later, though. "This is one of the back-door entrances into IPC, that no one usually comes down. Go straight out the alley and turn right. Our street's about four blocks down."

Enzan scowled a bit at the scratch marks. He hated it when his PET got messed up. "Ijuuin Blues? Probably, but he's still on his business trip... I think. I don't wanna bug him a lot."

"Gives you a good excuse to see him." He followed Blues' instructions.

Blues didn't like the scratch marks either, but they were there. She remained silent except for calling out directions occasionally, and would unless addressed directly.

Enzan paused when they got to the building, looking up at it as if lost in thought. "IPC..."

"Where are we going to be taking you in here?" He glanced down at Enzan and said softly, "And are you okay, Enzan?"

"Mother's office. She can take me home when she goes and I can help her until then," she paused. "Straight through the door. They won't question you since they never pay attention to my Enzan either." She decided to let V2 handle Enzan, not really knowing how to herself.

"I'm fine," Enzan said quickly, following Blues' directions. He never let go of V2's hand, though.

"Okay." V2 stayed quiet the rest of the time, just following Blues' orders. He stopped when they reached her office. It felt awkward just going in. But he had to and so he slipped inside.

Akiko was working at her desk and glanced up in surprise when the door opened. "Enzan-kun...?"

"Wrong Enzan, mother," Blues said quickly. "He's too young, see?"

Her smile softened. "Of course. Come on in, Enzan. Bring your friend, too."

A few looks crossed Enzan's face before it settled into a hard, cold mask. One was panic, most definitely panic. Another was pain. She wasn't Ijuuin Yuki, but she was close enough for it to hurt. He wordless entered, intending to hand over Blues and that was it.

His grip on V2's hand had become like iron, his knuckles white.

V2 tried hard not to focus on Enzan's tight grip. Though it was starting to hurt a little bit.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't think anyone was here, I would have knocked." V2 slowly walked over.

Akiko frowned slightly at the look on Enzan's face, but didn't say anything about it, though she felt a pang in wondering where her own son was. "It's all right. Enzan-kun very often comes in without knocking. I am used to it."

Blues noted Enzan's expressions as well, and made a note of it for later. "I couldn't find him, mother." She left out the other details for now.

"I didn't think you would, Blues." She looked at Enzan levelly with a gentle stare, deciding not to let it drop after all. "Is something wrong, Enzan?"

"I'm fine," he said, his tone emotionless. He held out Blues' PET. "You shouldn't leave Blues' PET unattended. The Nexus is far from safe, even with the AV field."
