Move In
So, I arrived today. Erin forgot to tell me that she left for Canada until Sunday... So yea, I was alone for the better part of today. I got food just to busy myself and drove to Best Buy.
I was freaked out when a knock came to the backdoor... But, it was Mark! He drove from New York to move in. I for sure thought he'd come next week, so yea, I won't be alone until Sunday now. I helped him move in and his mom helped as well.
I forgot how long the drive would be for them, because I kept thinking in terms of from New York to my side of Michigan, which, if you drive through Canada, it takes about 8 hours. And they did that, but they had to drive the extra hours across Michigan, so it took them about 11 hours... I couldn't do that...
Hmm, his mom treated us to dinner, so yay! And then Mark went grocery shopping and I went along for the ride.
It's funny how people stare at others when they don't seem to "go together". I'm black, Mark's asian and his mother is white. I guess they assumed we were her adopted children or something. I mean, if you're going to look, at least be discreet about it!
Argh, anyway.. That's about it.
