When I was in the seventh grade, my school closed down. Well, it closed right after the year ended thus preventing me from completing the last and oh so important 8th grade year with those whom I knew and loved so dearly. So now, four years later, my friend Branigan and I have voluntarily taken on the responsibility of arranging a get together of sorts. Now, this was a very small school, yet it is surprisingly hard to get a hold of the 9 whole different people who made up this class. You wouldn't think it would be, but indeed it is. After a bazillion phone calls, many of which went unanswered for a long period of time, and three stalker episodes, all involving me being the stalker, everyone has been contacted.
Today, I took it upon myself to research the music that was "popular" during this time and in the process, I realized that my generation (including me), in 1999, were smarter than we could ever even wish to be. There was actually a song by Missy Elliot titled ALL UP N MY GRILL, that yes, made it to a hits list. I am attempting to create mixed CD's with all this music so we can sit and remember our days of youth. If anyone would like a copy of this golden treasure when completed, let me know. It will include songs such as MONEY, CASH, HOES and LIVIN LA VIDA LOCA.
It's been lightninging for the past 3 nights now and there is no thunder. Is there something wierd about that? It's so pretty though, sometime when everyone reading this is my friend, we should all sit on my roof and watch the lightning. We can all hold 50 foot metal rods and wait for the fun.
