Dear Everyone,
I've started eating bananas because I'd developed this funny twitch in my eye that I decided came from my lack of potassium intake. This is cool because I don't like bananas and have never particularly liked eating them, but now I like them, mostly because my eye has stopped twitching. Whether or not this is the work of the bananas or not, I am grateful to them nonetheless and have chosen to keep up my new habit.
Also, college has taught me that when you're hungry, the answer is to drink liquids and lots of them. This is mostly because a.)I'm too lazy to walk the 5 minutes it takes to get to where they have the food b.)the food is gross anyway and c.)I usually sleep through the 2 hours they serve dinner. So, now when I get hungry I drink water. Or soda. My recent favorites have included dietcherryvanilladrpepper and diet wild cherry pepsi. In fact, I am drinking water right now and was late for my only class today because I had to make sure that I had soda. However, the copious amounts of diet soda I've been drinking lately have made me start thinking about the affects of phenylalanine, and other really strange things they put into diet soda, on my body. Good thing I don't care enough to stop drinking it. And because I drink a lot of liquid and eat carrots and apples all day, I get really hungry at night and I eat things like oreos with frosting or pretzels with peanut butter, neither of which are all that wholesome.
Anyway, this week had been tough guys, real tough and I'm only to wednesday. I almost fell asleep driving home last night. You know what kept me awake? Water. Apparently water is the answer for everything. It is the essence of life. So basically, I have two appreciations in life: water and bananas.
Love,
Amy
