So apparantly it is that time of the year where you recap the last 365 days and say damn, where in the hell did they go?
I truely think my life has changed a great deal in these 365 days.
I was reading some old lj entries and so many things were different back then.
Last year around this time I was a depressed alcoholic.
Mid-year I turned into an alcoholic.
And now, I have turned into a homebody.
I'm ok with it though. I never used to say "No" to going out for a night, and now for some reason, no matter how much I want to go out, I can say no and not feel bad.
Last night I was super tired, but really wanted to go out, and I said no. I'm glad Turb went out with my friends though, that says a lot about her and her personality.
I'm glad she wandered, no matter how drunk, back into my circle. Shes a good broad.
I'm glad many of my old friends came back into my circle as well.
I'm also stoked on the new friends I made this year! (Even if she always says she'll call back and never does!)
Friends are fun.
I miss a lot of things about my old life, but i'm completely excited about my new life.
Last year I said I was going to move out, i'm glad I didn't. I had too much growing up to do.
Now I truely believe I can make it out on my own.
I know a good career is around the corner, I just have to find one I like.
I'm glad I have been choosey with the jobs I have had and interviews I have gone out on.
My motivation is at an all time high right now and i'd like to keep it for a few more days at least.
That, and I have no health insurance come Saturday! Woo hoo for graduating and losing insurance!
Well actually WOO HOO for graduating, that took a great deal of effort and is probably my greatest achievement to date.
Although this was probably one of my worst years, I really had fun!
Went to Havasu 3 times.
Hit up Vegas 2 times.
San Diego and Seattle.
Even Boston won the World Series.
Didn't go to too many shows though: Story of the Year, No Doubt, TBS & Audio Karate. Sheesh i'm too old for these kids nowadays!
The drunkest I have ever been in my life was on my birthday at Miyagi's and I plan on repeating the same in mothereffin VEGAS in 2005!
I retired my two favorite shows ever Friends & Sex and the City but quickly replaced them with Desperate Housewives and Extreme Home Makeover.
Oh and I got a new baby cousin, a tiny little princess named Lisa who is only the cutest baby ever!
I'm excited to see what the new year brings...
I am truely thankful for my neverending support group of family and friends who constantly motivate me every single day in every single way.
