I was at Beachwood Cemetery in Ottawa. This is the final resting place for soldiers of the CF. The Canadian Forces Cemetery. That was where I spent Remembrance Day. After the parade I visited the graves of some of the fallen from Afgahnistan. The ages of a couple of them really hit me in the gut. Then I went to visit the Canadian War Museum. The exhibit Clash of Empires -the war that made Canada 1754-1763 was there. his was the finest collection of French and Indian War artifacts in the world. It was awesome. The native artifacts were well to drool over and the collection of powder horns with the scrimshaw work super! Well that's how I spent Nov 11.
