Whoa, life is interesting (and odd)
Woke up today with a dream still in my head-wrote it out before i went to class.
Another very odd dream. I was in Maine, but in someone elses house (I can actually place which one) and I was looking out at the waves coming over the beach. I tested the water and decided I was going to go swimming/bodysurfing, but I went back to the house to get something, supposedly a boogey board. I ended up in an old style white bathtub next to the door and in full view of a window. That was when my grandparents came to visit, but the dream shifted and nothing else really happened in that scenario. For some reason it moved to a kind of blurry web feed that Brouck’s friend Lindsey sent me- though I didn’t recognize her until I woke up. Even weirder, it was of her sitting and doing homework in a hall in my high school.
I took a nap and ended up walking around new york, talking to a random actor who i think played hercules and captain of a spaceship, cant think of a name. We were walking on a street that led under a "gotham city" style bridge, and thats when the dream got freeeaaky. I looked over into a river that the bridge went over and i saw a a dead body-how i knew they were dead, i dont know, but then it fell off of a box and into the water. I remember yelling "Oh my God, a dead body!" I woke up then, more than a little freaked out.
Watched some TV and calmed down-only a dream, only a dream. Did some work and thought over the day. (Sidenote-am i losing my mind? Two dreams in a day is not usual for me-and havent had a scary one like the last in a while.)
Once I calmed down more-I felt like reading, but not any of the books I had. So i walked over to the library and asked if they had any copies of catcher in the rye. They told me they had them, but didnt have them there, though i could go look in the section that they were normally in. Turns out there was one there-checked that out. Strange-Brouck was talking about the book today-thats what made me get it- and the return date is 11/29 (birthday!). Spent the rest of the day so far immersed in that and freaking out people in the pit by laughing to myself about Holden's hunting hat (where can i find one of them?) or related things. Dinner Soon.
