Medical Info: Recently discovered thanks to Kengo: KOU IS LEGALLY BLIND WITHOUT HIS GLASSES. He's got .01/.03 vision. That's right and then left eye, ftr. Which is 20/630 and 20/2000. Lol. So yeah. Uh. I'm guessing he's pretty much legally blind even with glasses in his left eye. Beyond this, he's a pretty healthy individual who smokes and gets in fights with yakuza and Kokuchi and whatnot. So.
Eyes: Violet-ish/gold in Rei form
Hair: Black
Physical traits: Dark hair and violet eyes. He's a chic kind of dresser, going with layers with glasses and multiple piercings in his ears. He sometimes wears a clawed asset on his middle finger on his left. He will often have a cigarette with him. Kou also has a noticeable scar of some sort coming down from his left eye.
In Rei form, Kou's eyes take on a golden hue and he has clothes of white (or some pale color) with belts around his arms and legs, hanging freely. His hands are equipped with armored claws and his canine teeth are noticeably larger. He also doesn't wear his glasses while in this form but maintains that scar on his face.
What's Okay To Mention Around Him: I'm cool with anything. I can't promise he won't react certain ways, but hey, if you're willing to take the risk... but I think he'd be fairly easy-going with most things.
Abilities: Ho boy. Kou is a Rei. That is, he a person chosen by a Rei King (in this case, the former Direct Rei King Ryuuko), one of the five "children" of said king. Rei are people of the light world who work to keep balance on their side of reality. I.e. if there's too much dark, kill them off. Because of this, Kou has an alternate form he takes when he fights. As mentioned in description, he has claws and those are his primary form of attack, a swift swipe of claws to the trunk of the body. He is very fast by normal human standard even while in his normal form. He also has the ability to smell darkeness. I'm not sure if this is while he's in Rei form or both, but... yeah. I'm assuming he only had perfect or preternatural eyesight while in Rei form, since he seems to actually need the glasses in his normal form.
Finally, in regards to the overlarge canines while in his Rei form. These he uses to literally suck the darkness from a person's body. Currently in the manga, this has been demonstrated twice--one on screen, one off. Both were on Kengo, who has special issues which can for the most part be solved by this method. He can and will use it to assault his enemies of a dark nature, however.
Notes for the Psychics/Empaths: Kou is actually a very guilt-ridden person. He betrayed, in his mind, his master/king/friend by running when faced with the possibility of Ryuuko dying. This is because he is an extremely loyal person and is not afraid of doing horrible things to protect the people he says he will protect. He will literally sacrifice himself for someone like Akira if only so he won't commit the same betrayal again.
Beyond this, he's pretty easy-going and likes to have fun. This may or may not involve perversion and fights with unsavory characters. He's very playful when fighting and teasing and almost never means anything serious if he likes someone. And if he doesn't like someone... well. He's friendly until he sees no reason to be ♥
Notes for the magically/spiritually sensitive: They should be able to sense his affiliation with the light/Rei type of person and thus might cause people with a dark/shadow influence to get ping'd hard by the opposite nature he has.
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: FEEL FREE TO. But yeah. At your own risk with the latter bit. Also we'll talk it out when it comes up.
