Well to update you on what's new and grand in the life of me....GEARS OF WAR. Came out. Fina-fucking-lly. I had about 45 minutes to play it between jobs, and let me tell YOU----I was considering calling in sick to work...but that wouldn't fly well, considering I picked the game up FROM my place of work, went home, and played. Those bitches wouldn't believe me. So, my next investment you might ask? An HDTV. Or maybe the HD DVD Drive for my 360.....or a kick-in-the-pants PS3...Kill me before I waste my time on technology in an age where 3 weeks later whatever you bought is now "updated and bug free!" Bastards.
I also decided to reserve my copy of Halo 3...hopefully paid off as well wayyyyy before launch.
And on another interesting note....a friend of mine decided to GIVE AWAY (yes give away, in large letters) his 360, games, controllers, PS3 reserve, and all that is holy in the land of the Video Game. All cuz it's a "distraction". I'm still in shock. Will it last? WHO KNOWS? This is Jonathan FUCKING Wallace we're talkin about, ladies and gentlemen...yes, he who has not been beat in Halo since the good ole days of Matt T. He who we enjoy playing halo against, not because of the thrill of the prospect of being slaughtered, but by the thrill we get from playing "let's kill ourselves before Jon does."---and commence by jumping into the nearest available abyss. But alas, we shall see.
On that note, I think I shall go kill something in Gears of Fucking War, then pass out...I am le tired...
