Never again...
This is a poem I wrote on March 21st, 2003. Looks like I need to start revising my old poetry...
Returning to the place
I once was before,
Turning to you,
and wanting more.
Never again
to look back to the past,
I want to stay with you,
I want to make this last.
I leave all my life
and my sin behind,
Restore my soul,
renew my mind.
I thank you, Lord
For all that you do,
For being my savior,
And staying so true.
I now see Your face,
And with arms open wide,
I embrace your forgiveness,
I no longer have to hide
Your presence is where
I’ve always wanted to be,
To be where You are,
in Your peace...
