I almost got into a fight last night
It was really hillarious and dorky of me, but I'm one of those people who actually follows driving rules.
Like at Lenox Mall where there is a very unsafe intersection where you should never turn on red and there is a big sign that says "No turn on red" that people seem to disregard. So I got off work and was stopped on red, and some asshole beeps at me from behind and pulls around my car, halfway into the intersection with his right turnsignal on ready to run for it. I stuck my arm out of the car and pointed to the No Turn on Red sign, and he got out of his car. Now most people, I suppose, would be terrified of this dude. He's about 6'3 or so, black, and pretty ripped, but stupid Maddie got all nerdy on him instead.
He said 'fuck you'
I: The SIGN says NO- TURN- ON- RED.
He: What are you going to do?
I: It is the LAW, and quite frankly, sir, your BLATANT disregard for the civil engineers of this country DISGUSTS me.
He: You want to fight? Get out of your car
I then parked and took off my seat belt, and the coward got back into his car really fast and waited for the light to turn green.
It was only after I returned home that I realized I probably could have gotten my ass kicked, I was so pissed that he would violate such an important law at a dangerous intersection. Meh, the law would have won out- and any cop that sees a 6'3 giant picking on a less than 5' crying girl (as I would be if my ass had been getting kicked) is going to send the former to jail and the latter home to her 'mommy.'
God I love looking young today.
