Kurtsperimentation

I am trying to decide how I like to draw Kurt from Glee.
So far, this one is my favorite:
Please excuse that shading. I don't know what I was thinking either.
I'm taking my time experimenting on Kurt because I have hit a mjaor roadblock. His name is Blaine. Why did the stylists decide to make his hair in an EXACT shape that is nearly impossible for me to draw from any angle? It's like part-elvis-part-greaser-part-mod. I like Darren Criss's normal hair. I'm good with ridiculous curly stuff. Damn this whole "dapper" thing. Next season he better discover weed or something and stop slicking his hair down.
