Admin - On discussions
Hey guys! As is typical with a new community, I'm still busily refining the rules and thanks to an email from justira, I thought I'd confirm that you can post discussion type things here. However, there are rules on this. These are in the userinfo, but I'll copy/paste them here, too. These may still be tweaked a little.
1. Discussion is good. We like discussion. There are many places to do that already, but that doesn't mean we don't welcome a little more!
2. However, what we don't want is someone posting every time the IMDB cast list updates or something. In this context, we're not interested in that.
3. What we are interested in is intelligent discussion of things such as who exactly the Lady is, whether Barney can actually scry or whether it was just a property of the grail, whether never really means never when it comes to Bran, etc.
4. That doesn't mean you can't post discussion of the movie, but it does mean you have to have more to say than "oh my god Christopher Eccleston" or something. For example, if you find out they've changed something, you could post discussion about how exactly they'll make that work.
5. In the end, I the mod will be the judge of whether something is appropriate. As said above, if in doubt, email me.
