last night for my mom's birthday me, my aunt, my cousin tommy who is in fifth grade I believe, and my mother went to dinner at a hotel that sits at the bottom of mount snow's base area. rooms are like $300 a night or something ridiculous like that. I had a filet mignon that was excellent. I don't remember the last time I had steak so good. it sat on a round eggplant thing and had superb mashed potatoes as well. for the four of us it came to $160, tax and tip included. I had ben and jerry's oatmeal rasin cookie dough ice cream for dessert. it's amazing. I had some when I was in minnesota with jenna. it's really really good!! so it was super expensive and nobody really liked their food except me. oh well. it was nice for my mom though. she enjoyed it, even though it was a lot of money. today we went to killington. we didn't have to buy lift tickets because I guess ours from mount snow are already good. it was super duper cold. look below. if any skin was exposed while you were going down it felt like you were being sliced open with a very cold wind-knife thing. so it was cold. I guess today was okay. I cried a bit and I got quite upset in the middle of the day. I dunno. I haven't not-cried since last friday. now it's 7:47pm and my mother is asleep. I'm very bored. life of pi = not good reading.
