No longer a trainee...
... in the army, anyway.
So, it's been a long 6 months, and after having been through Basic Military Training and Emergency Medical Technician training, I can now proudly say that I am now a fully fledged... medic. With a proper paramedic certificate, too!
Maybe I can work as a paramedic after leaving the army - for a period of time, anyway - I'd definitely still want to go for further studies and possibly stick to the old dream of becoming an English teacher in Japan... Hopefully it isn't too farfetched a dream...
Let's just see what happens in the future, I guess.
