Having been in L.A. since Thursday, there's been no shortage of this "weather" you speak of.

I know, right? I flew in from Seattle to LA on Sunday only to see that it's raining worse here.

Not like this. The next morning, judging by the level of water in cans and such, it'd rained maybe 2.5 inches in about 8 hours.

I'm pretty sure it rained about 2.5 inches in 20 minutes, that's how bad the rain is down here. I've lived most of my life in Southern California and I've never seen it this bad. I haven't even seen it rain as bad as this in Seattle.

I begin to think that I function as some kind of inverse rain god. It's been mostly sunny here.

But I'm hoping it snows before I leave. That would be something to see.
