Amanda showed up, carrying the new kimono very carefully so as not to accidentally step on it, drag it on the floor or damage it. In her bag were implements for styling her hair properly and geisha make-up, as well as normal everyday make-up. She didn't know which would be used.
Unfortunately for her, she had no idea how to properly put on a kimono so it wouldn't fall off. She'd always had someone dress her the few times she'd been made to wear a kimono. When she'd been training in the south, it had been a maid who specialized in formal kimono. When Leo had been training her, he had been the one to help her into it. All she'd done was put on the under robe by herself.
"I know I will probably sound really stupid....but can someone help me into this thing? I don't have the first clue how to tie this so it won't fall off...." she said, announcing her problem to the whole class. Since the kimono was still wrapped up in the plastic it had been in since bought, the color couldn't be seen yet.
The day of the parade was here, and Miki was well prepared. He had all the equipment he would need at his dad's house. Even the fact that it would be a moving float didn't cause him problems as he had brought all that he would need to keep the lights working brilliantly. He had been determined to bring everything he needed as well. He packed it all high on his bike. Some of it tettered on the back, tied down with a rope. The rest was stacked on his handlebars, fastened together sturdily, but it was still equal in height as Miki, causing him sight problems. It was a troublesome route to school today, but it was successful. With one last connection between two cords, lights lit up their float. Miki sat back, a satisfied smile sitting blatantly on his face triumphantly. Now on to the next technical issue.
Miyavi's ears twitched over hearing the appealing question Amanda asked. Like a sly fox, he crept his way to her side, and with a smile he simply said he would be more then happy to lend a hand. He was already dressed in a royal purple robe, and it had a glamorous gold design along the bottom. His smooth chest exposed through the wide opening of the robe, yet it stopped just before it reached his navel.
"Please don't think it weird that I know how to put these things on," he said with a slight shrug of his shoulders, his bottom lip pushing over his top. "It's just simply one of those random things I learned over my few years," he said jumping quickly to explain.
Yuki watched the sliver ring snake work, or that is what she called him in her blog. /yes....you know how to put it on because you know how to take it off snake

Miyavi turned to look at the girl, his eyes showed no disapproval at all.
"Of course you're right, yet I was simply coming to help her since no one else seemed to be making a effort to do so. However I do agree with you. It is much more suitable for you to help her, and I must say you look beautiful in your kimono. I'm one lucky evil lord." His voice was soft and somewhat carefree.
Yuki's minor attitude spike deflated at his tone, instead she froze at his pretty words, mouth opening a moment then closing. Insults she could work with, flattery on the other hand...
She brought her sleeve to her face, the blush hidden by the white make up, "Yes, you are one lucky evil lord, sire." She played along, thinking if it was just acting, she would be okay.
Miyavi smiled, "I suppose I'll leave you to girls to do your thing, but if you have any question I'll be over by the float. Don't hesitate to ask your lord anything." He bowed his head in a goodbye before walking briskly over towards the float. Once there he complained to a kid who wasn't putting his throne in it's correct spot, and began to fiercely point to wear he envisioned it to be.
He clapped his hands together when it was in the designated spot: the center.
Amanda watched the exchange, having given Miyavi a smile at the offer before meekly turning to Yuki. "Is it bad for a boy to help a girl with a kimono? Leo-nii-sama helped me before..." she said, green eyes wide. She was oddly innocent of such things, even after nearly a year in high school. She pulled out the kimono, a deep blue color. The obi was a pink so pale it was nearly white, contrasting greatly with the dark purple and the silver and gold dragon embroidery. Amanda knew that dragons weren't a common design on a woman's kimono, but when she'd seen the kimono, she'd wanted it immediately. It was a woman's kimono and the dragons were made to be delicate, almost ethereal confections in gold and silver

Yuki listened to Amanda explain and muttered under her breath, "that is because sawada-san is just as fruitier than Toriyama-chan, thats why." Since the rumor spreading of poor Miki, Yuki has felt rather ruthless towards her thoughts on Toriyama. "Sawada-chan, no it is not right for a boy to dress a girl, but since Sawada-san is your brother...it is alright. I think." Yuki went up next to her slowly dressing the beautiful blonde girl.
Amanda was very careful to move her hands and such as instucted. She moved gracefully, avoiding any chance of accidentally bumping Yuki. "I think it's ok...'cuz it's nii-sama."
Miki was up on the float now, working around the students moving the throne. With one last arrangement of wires, his job was complete. He was happy with this task. Not only was it a speciality of his, but he was working in solitary. Now, he grudgingly approached Miyavi. "All the electrical is complete," he reported to the rep.
Miki had figured that today would end up being an easy day with the rumor since he would only have to deal with his homeroom. He hadn't realized how close in proximatity he would be to all the other homerooms. So all morning he spent a great deal of time avoiding people and ignoring what most people had to say. 'At least today will be a short one,' he thought to himself.
Yuki nodded at watch Amanda said, "most likely" Once the main robe was on, Yuki began to tie the smaller ties to keep the robe in place.""alright arms up while I start putting on the obi" She smiled. "then its make up."
Amanda smiled as she lifted her arms up, careful not to have a chance of hitting Yuki while she did so. "I know how the make-up should look...but I confess...I've never put on geisha make-up....even normal make-up I don't often bother with."
Yuki shook her head with a smile, oddly feeling like a Geisha teacher to a student. "don't worry, you are american yes? Even most Japanese don't know how...I just watched a few videos on it." Oh she was a little prefectionist. The small girl wrapped the obi around Amanda tightly making it snug and giving her the classic shapeless kimono look.
Seeing the other girls pair up Yu Ling felt a little left out, she too needed to get dressed but didn't even know where her kimono was. 'Great,' she thought as her eyes went to where Miyavi was. She didn't want to go to him for help not when she was already his personal servant since he found out the truth about her. With a sigh she approached him to ask for his help in getting ready for the float.
Amanda smiled at Yuki, glad that the kimono gave her a shapeless look. Even though she tended to wear clothes that hid her figure, she wasn't sure that with a tightly tied obi, her voluptuous figure wouldn't peek through. Leo didn't tie the obi quite as tight as Yuki, so she'd been a bit concerned when she'd felt how tightly it was being tied. She smiled down at the kimono, very happy that her figure didn't show through
