"Hello? Tidus?" he called as he reached the door and lifted his hand to knock, but noticed it was already open...and obviously not shut. Smart move on the blonde's part.
He waited a minute before shrugging and going in. If someone accused him of breaking and entering, he could just explain the party and the open door and hopefully he wouldn't be in to much trouble. The inside was as nice as the outside, and honestly, Saix was impressed with the tastefulness of it all. He quite liked it. Again, he he would never say so out loud.
He blinked when he saw a blonde sitting on a couch that was obviously NOT Tidus. In fact, he didn't recall ever seeing him...well, okay, he did, but it was only through passing in the hall not from interaction of any sort. Basically, he knew the face somewhat, but not the name, grade...or anything for that matter.
"Hello," he said in way of greeting, and took up a spot with his shoulder leaning against the wall, calculating how long it would take him to get out of there.

“Hi…" He said, somewhat nervous. He doubted that it was Tidus... This guy looked too serious to ever throw a party. "My name is Demyx." He smiled lightly.
"Uh, do you live here?” He asked quietly.
Reply
"Saix," the blue-haired senior offered. "And no, I don't live here." Though, he wouldn't mind. His home wasn't some...homely as this.

He found it too awkward to continue speaking, especially when Demyx just sort of felt the other man really didn’t want to speak with him. So instead he sat back in his seat quietly.

"So...do you know Tidus well?" he asked finally. Maybe this kid was a friend of the other blonde's.
Reply
"Er... Actually i don't know him at all." He started. "I am a senior, but i transfered to Lifestream High this year."

"Sorry...i guess i just didn't realize." Or maybe he assumed the person who owned the house was in charge of such things.

His gaze flicked back from Tidus to Demyx, and he deemed him worthy of an answer to his previous comment before Tidus had come in. He was first here, and though Aeris had walked through the door and probably some others, he wasn't intent on socializing with more than one person at a time, and at least this new blondie seemed sane.
"A transfer? Hmm, you're in the same boat as me then," Saix commented, though one couldn't tell if it was out of the need to find a companion in this cruel world or a simple fact he was stating. "Where did you transfer from?" Okay, yay, more conversation. At least he was getting SOMEWHERE with this. His Dad would be proud...or was that a bad thing?
Oh, never mind, just pray the kid keeps talking so he's not harassed by others at this get together.

"I really loved it there...but they had to close it down do to a fire. I don't think they will ever get it up and running again." It truly was unfortunate. All of those instruments...all of the musicians losing everything they had. He felt a little sick thinking about it... But he was at a party and in the presence of another. To do something other than smile would have made this situation awkward.
"Uh...but yea... I am here now!" He forced a smile on his face. "Where did you transfer from?"

"Um, yeah," Saix said, finally coming to sit on the couch, trying to be small and insignificant. He really didn't want to be here as it got steadily more crowded, and was in fact, a bit uncomfortable. He was used to big groups at school and stuff, but that was so impersonal. It was the same of his father's parties. This was...well, it wasn't new really, but it was different. In fact, he hoped he could find a way to get to the veranda or the balcony or just outside really. Being in a place he couldn't have the upper hand in made him twitchy.

The fact that Saix had came and sat down next to him sort of made his heart jump. He wasn't sure why. There was just something odd about the other mans presence. Demyx still felt a little intimidated by him. He wasn't much of a talker...and by the way Saix was acting he didn't seem like much of a talker either.
There were other people coming in...He could go try to interact with them. But then, no. He just wasn't in the mood. He always had this fear of saying something stupid...and the more people the worse. He just sort of wanted to go outside. He started to get up from the couch, but then he remember that he was sort of having somewhat of a conversation with this, Saix, guy. Perhaps he should ask him to come with?
"Uh..Do you know this house at all? I just sort of want to get some air or go somewhere a little less populated or something... I mean, you don't have to go or anything, but if you want to it's cool...or not." Demyx was annoyed at the fact that he couldn't make up his mind of whether or not he wanted Saix to go with him. He felt obligated to ask, but then if he had said no, he would have felt stupid.

"Yeah, I'll come with," he said, rising and running a hand through his longish blue hair, his insides wanting him to pounce Demyx in thanks for getting him out. He kept them cages though, and calmy walked out of the house onto the lawn, breathing in the wide open space.

"I didn't really want to come in the first place." He started. He didn't know why he decided to confess this to Saix, probably because he sort of had this nagging feeling that the other man didn't really want to be there either. "I am not much of a people person...or a party person for that matter."

With a sigh, he sat down next to Demyx, keeping about six feet between them, watching cars go by and watching the sky slowly begin to darken, turning a dark blue, then yellow, orange, red, and even a bit of violet at the very edge.

The way the colors of the sky sort of meshed together like that was really pretty. It reminded him of a series of music notes, stacking themselves on top of each other, and creating a new chord. He then mentally slapped himself for incorporating everything into music. He really needed to get a life.
Or a girlfriend or something...
"So... You have a girlfriend? It seems like you would...especially after being forced to be around nothing but guys for so long." He laughed nervously.
