Saix still couldn't fathom why he was here as he locked his car and headed up the walkway to the house. It looked quaint and nice enough. In fact, he kinda of liked the coloring of it, but, of course, Saix being Saix, he wasn't going to say that aloud. At least he would know the person hosting, since he had done that arcade thing and all with Tidus (which was probably the reason he was here when he thought about it).

"Hello? Tidus?" he called as he reached the door and lifted his hand to knock, but noticed it was already open...and obviously not shut. Smart move on the blonde's part.

He waited a minute before shrugging and going in. If someone accused him of breaking and entering, he could just explain the party and the open door and hopefully he wouldn't be in to much trouble. The inside was as nice as the outside, and honestly, Saix was impressed with the tastefulness of it all. He quite liked it. Again, he he would never say so out loud.

He blinked when he saw a blonde sitting on a couch that was obviously NOT Tidus. In fact, he didn't recall ever seeing him...well, okay, he did, but it was only through passing in the hall not from interaction of any sort. Basically, he knew the face somewhat, but not the name, grade...or anything for that matter.

"Hello," he said in way of greeting, and took up a spot with his shoulder leaning against the wall, calculating how long it would take him to get out of there.

Demyx jumped when he heard the unfamiliar voice. He looked over and saw the man with blue hair. He wasn’t sure if he lived there, or maybe in fact was Tidus… Hard to judge when he has never met him.

“Hi…" He said, somewhat nervous. He doubted that it was Tidus... This guy looked too serious to ever throw a party. "My name is Demyx." He smiled lightly.

"Uh, do you live here?” He asked quietly.

Saix looked the blonde up and down with his golden eyes, his face set in a cool mask. Mentally, he wondered if it was worth responding. In the end, he decided it was. He had spent the last few days wondering how he would survive his senior life at Lifestream High (especially after his run ins with Sora and Tifa), and decided that TRYING to be nicer might be a start. Of course, he heavily stressed trying because he was loathe to do it. And it was mostly because if he liked people, it meant his dad was winning. Oh well. If he survived, it meant he ultimatley won, so why not?

"Saix," the blue-haired senior offered. "And no, I don't live here." Though, he wouldn't mind. His home wasn't some...homely as this.

“ I see…” he was trying not to focus on that huge X across his face, but it was somewhat unavoidable. It was tempting to ask, but judging by Saïx’s presence, it was best not to. He looked like he could eat Demyx and spit him out.

He found it too awkward to continue speaking, especially when Demyx just sort of felt the other man really didn’t want to speak with him. So instead he sat back in his seat quietly.

Okay, brilliant. It didn't take a genius for Saix to figure out that it was his aura that made Demyx not want to talk to him. Crap. He had to be the one to take the first step. Argh.

"So...do you know Tidus well?" he asked finally. Maybe this kid was a friend of the other blonde's.

Demyx was shocked. He most certainly didn't expect Saix to actually talk to him, let alone continue a conversation. Perhaps he wasn't as mean as he looked. Or, maybe it was because no one else was there and he didn't enjoy the sound of silence. Either way, as long as the other man was leading Demyx would follow.

"Er... Actually i don't know him at all." He started. "I am a senior, but i transfered to Lifestream High this year."

Tidus finished his shower, dressed with a black shirt, and washed out jeans, his hair still unstyled and wet with a towel on his head. He came down the stairs when he heard people coming in, and grinned at the two. "Hey guys, you know... you shouldn't be so absorbed with each other to not let a lady in."

"A-Absorbed with each other?" He questioned nervously. He then realized that there were other people joining. Where had the time gone? He wasn't the type to venture off in a strangers house, and since Saix was the first person, other than himself, to get there he felt he should stick around with him.

"Sorry...i guess i just didn't realize." Or maybe he assumed the person who owned the house was in charge of such things.

Saix nodded to Tidus. "So, is there a requirement for how long I have to stay here?" he asked. He knew he 'owed' Tidus for both the two bucks in quaters and the new ability to get girls, but he hoped it did not mean that he would be sentenced to an all night party he didn't want to be at in the first place.

His gaze flicked back from Tidus to Demyx, and he deemed him worthy of an answer to his previous comment before Tidus had come in. He was first here, and though Aeris had walked through the door and probably some others, he wasn't intent on socializing with more than one person at a time, and at least this new blondie seemed sane.

"A transfer? Hmm, you're in the same boat as me then," Saix commented, though one couldn't tell if it was out of the need to find a companion in this cruel world or a simple fact he was stating. "Where did you transfer from?" Okay, yay, more conversation. At least he was getting SOMEWHERE with this. His Dad would be proud...or was that a bad thing?

Oh, never mind, just pray the kid keeps talking so he's not harassed by others at this get together.

" I transferred from a Music Academy, Uematsu High." He paused for a moment.

"I really loved it there...but they had to close it down do to a fire. I don't think they will ever get it up and running again." It truly was unfortunate. All of those instruments...all of the musicians losing everything they had. He felt a little sick thinking about it... But he was at a party and in the presence of another. To do something other than smile would have made this situation awkward.

"Uh...but yea... I am here now!" He forced a smile on his face. "Where did you transfer from?"

"An all boy's private high school," he said. "Rumiki," he supplied as the name. It was a rather obscure private high, but that was fine with him. He had heard a bit about he school this Demyx had gone too, though he had not heard of the fire or its resulting closure.

"Um, yeah," Saix said, finally coming to sit on the couch, trying to be small and insignificant. He really didn't want to be here as it got steadily more crowded, and was in fact, a bit uncomfortable. He was used to big groups at school and stuff, but that was so impersonal. It was the same of his father's parties. This was...well, it wasn't new really, but it was different. In fact, he hoped he could find a way to get to the veranda or the balcony or just outside really. Being in a place he couldn't have the upper hand in made him twitchy.

"Hmm..." Demyx wasn't sure what to say. He had heard many things about All Boy schools...which none of them were very pleasant. Bringing it up with this guy just didn't seem like a good idea. He shook his head, deciding not to think about it.

The fact that Saix had came and sat down next to him sort of made his heart jump. He wasn't sure why. There was just something odd about the other mans presence. Demyx still felt a little intimidated by him. He wasn't much of a talker...and by the way Saix was acting he didn't seem like much of a talker either.

There were other people coming in...He could go try to interact with them. But then, no. He just wasn't in the mood. He always had this fear of saying something stupid...and the more people the worse. He just sort of wanted to go outside. He started to get up from the couch, but then he remember that he was sort of having somewhat of a conversation with this, Saix, guy. Perhaps he should ask him to come with?

"Uh..Do you know this house at all? I just sort of want to get some air or go somewhere a little less populated or something... I mean, you don't have to go or anything, but if you want to it's cool...or not." Demyx was annoyed at the fact that he couldn't make up his mind of whether or not he wanted Saix to go with him. He felt obligated to ask, but then if he had said no, he would have felt stupid.

Saix turned and let his golden eyes walk up and down Demyx again. In his mind, he was jumping for joy. So, the boy really WAS sane. Hallelujah! Of course, years of private high school and his father had given him the gift (or something like it) of being able to keep his face looking like nothing more than unemetional mask on some actor. At times this was good and bad, and that little voice in the back of his head was telling him emotion would be GOOD right now, but the little voice was overrided and so the mask remained.

"Yeah, I'll come with," he said, rising and running a hand through his longish blue hair, his insides wanting him to pounce Demyx in thanks for getting him out. He kept them cages though, and calmy walked out of the house onto the lawn, breathing in the wide open space.

Demyx, at first, sat down on the grass, but soon he decided to lay down. It really was comfortable. He wondered what sort of grass it was. They must have watered it often to keep it so green and soft. He sighed streatching himself out.

"I didn't really want to come in the first place." He started. He didn't know why he decided to confess this to Saix, probably because he sort of had this nagging feeling that the other man didn't really want to be there either. "I am not much of a people person...or a party person for that matter."

"Me neither," was the simple, verbal reply. Though, perhaps some of the edge was taken off, some of the hate that warded off others from hearing what he felt.

With a sigh, he sat down next to Demyx, keeping about six feet between them, watching cars go by and watching the sky slowly begin to darken, turning a dark blue, then yellow, orange, red, and even a bit of violet at the very edge.

Demyx rolled his head to the side looking at the blue-haired man. He sat so far away, but for good reason probably. He then looked up at the sky and smiled.

The way the colors of the sky sort of meshed together like that was really pretty. It reminded him of a series of music notes, stacking themselves on top of each other, and creating a new chord. He then mentally slapped himself for incorporating everything into music. He really needed to get a life.

Or a girlfriend or something...

"So... You have a girlfriend? It seems like you would...especially after being forced to be around nothing but guys for so long." He laughed nervously.
