Paragraphs usually mark that there is a change of ideas or thought. Also that someone else is speaking. It generally makes it easier to understand what is happening and also just makes it easier to read.

*nods head* Nothing annoys me quite as much as reading a piece that has issues with paragraphs. I tend to just skip those all together, no matter how amazing they are, simply because if it's a pain to read I don't even care to try.

Little random side note, this is Melissa, imissmymind from back in the GCFF days. You have me under my old sn, which I thankfully realized was unknowingly really lame, ximissmymindx, but I have recently started another one, under this sn. Anyway, I decided to drop you a line letting you know in case you would like to remove that username from your friends or anything, as it will no longer be updated.

A random-er note... The "How we survive is what makes us who we are" quote... Rise Against is amazing, definitely a favorite of mine. And Supernatural is a minor obsession of mine these days. Like one of those itsy-bitsy "owning my life" obsessions.
