Until I return, my love will burn and my heart will stay
I am thankful for:
- My amazing boyfriend. We've already been through so much, and it's only been (almost) 5 months. I can't even believe we've made it this far. He needs me and I need him. He loves me and I love him. We're not perfect and our relationship definitely isn't, but we as a couple have changed so much. I am thankful for everything he does for me. For every time he makes me cry, he makes me smile 50. I'm glad he's in my life.
- My family. I should really just say my parents, in this regard. They are there for me all the time, no matter what. They could have disowned me a few times over, they could disapprove of a lot of things, but they don't. They don't always have the means to support me how they do, but they always are willing to do whatever it takes. I only hope I can somehow not completely let them down.
- My friends. Certain ones, yes. I have amazing best friends who are always there for me. They always have my back and are very in tune with me. I couldn't ask for more. I have a handful of awesome close friends who are a lot of fun and just generally care about me. It's good to have people, and I am thankful.
- Coheed. Yeah. It might be silly, but their music gives me quite a lot. They couldn't possibly begin to understand what they mean to so many fans. The music speaks to me, and I am thankful for everything it does. It can make me happy, help me think or relax, calm me down, or vent anger. I'm lucky to have something about which I feel so strongly.
- My health and that of those around me.
- Comic books. Technology. The internet. Coffee. My car. Privacy. Alone time. Television. Texting. Chocolate and other candy. Fall and winter. Christmas shopping. Makeup. Flannel sheets. Living in a (semi) major city.
