day 2 of author appreciation week
day 2 of author appreciation week I am going to write about the OPT that lead me to tumblr - Jelsa! Here be fic recommendations…

"At The Center" was one of the very first jelsa fanfiction I stumbled upon, and I am so glad I did. It is a very sloooow burn jelsa story, but oh so satisfying. And it's not even finished! What I really love about therentyoupay's jelsa stories is (and it's really most impressive) she can build so much feelings and longings between Elsa and Jack, and they haven't even kissed! therentyoupay is one of the reason I ventured on to tumblr, because I wanted to get updates on her writing sooner than later.

EireneHarmonia writes the best short jelsa drabbles. The drabbles are sometimes too short, and leaves me wanting more, but, I think it takes a really good writer to write good very short drabbles. It takes a lot of talent to convey much with less than 100 to 200 words. And, she does long stories very well too. I adore her "Nocturne Series," and "Ricercar" is my favorite JamesBond! jelsa story.

You want jelsa stories with plot and extremely good smut? Go read Furiyan's "Cold to the Touch." My favorite part about "Cold to the touch" is the way Furiyan weaves Elsa and Jack's taste in music into the story (well yes, other than the smut and the unresolved sexual tension at the beginning and then resolving it). Surprisingly, I've been introduced to certain songs that I normally would not have listened or paid attention to because of this story. And if you just want jelsa smut, "Ex-Valentine's day" is THE BEST.
