Yeah, I was bored:
bane10x: i was thinking
elless983: bout what
bane10x: time and time travel
elless983: heh ok
bane10x: well, i think time travel might have the possibility for existing
elless983: im listening
bane10x: well, it might run off the idea of a time loop
bane10x: i have this idea that matter is running in a continuous loop
bane10x: see
bane10x: time is fictional
bane10x: by us
bane10x: and we know by current laws, matter can not be created or destroyed
elless983: ok
bane10x: well, if this is true, then matter is continuing to always be used and changed....
elless983: how does this play into time travel
bane10x: well what if eventually, matter (as a whole) changes back to its original form
bane10x: through the way the universe is structured
bane10x: see, scientists have long speculated that the universe creates new ones, and run in a way that they create themselves eventually
bane10x: this kinda makes sense
bane10x: dont worry, im getting to the travel
bane10x: well
elless983: are you saying that the universe is continuously being destroyed and created
bane10x: yes
bane10x: through spawning other universes
elless983: hmm
elless983: thats an interesting theory
bane10x: well, its not proven in science
bane10x: but i guess they have evidence for it
bane10x: anyways
bane10x: that puts time travel into a loop
elless983: so you would get other dimentions
bane10x: er rather time
bane10x: dimensions
elless983: yes yes
bane10x: and if you consider a universe a dimension, then yes
bane10x: as in it is within a pocket...
elless983: what do you mean by that
bane10x: if you consider a universe to be its own entity
bane10x: so that outside of the universe, nothing exists
elless983: Well i mean seperate universes that are identical to our own
elless983: that we can never see
bane10x: well thats just it
bane10x: if a universe spawns another universe, what would it be like
bane10x: we dont know
bane10x: but if that spawning happens
bane10x: you could travel between
elless983: kinda like sliders
bane10x: kinda
bane10x: but that went on parallels...
bane10x: this idea is more linear
elless983: hmm i see what your saying
bane10x: i see it as linear, but in a circle
bane10x: and from what i have noticed
bane10x: nature follows a set of patterns
bane10x: but if you look at it closely
elless983: the different worlds wouldn't be parralell they would be of different times, cause they were spawned at different timees
bane10x: geesh, spelling there...
bane10x: yes
bane10x: different times
elless983: Its the keyboard
bane10x: hmm
bane10x: anyways
bane10x: these patterns all follow one universal pattern
bane10x: one that i have mentioned before and always
bane10x: balance
elless983: but different things could change that universe from our own
elless983: so you can't change time
bane10x: not if it is preset, no
bane10x: in other words
bane10x: the changing of time has already happened
bane10x: lets say you time travel and you change something
elless983: .....
bane10x: then what you are really doing is changing nothing
bane10x: you are just putting time in its actual place
elless983: because you aren't changing your universe
elless983: you are changing another
bane10x: no, you are
bane10x: this is getting hard to explain without drawings
bane10x: but in any case, i will explain it further later
If anyone as questions about what I am saying (since I ramble a bit), you can ask and I will answer what I am thinking here, as it rather makes a lot of sense!
