This is the correct response to said email:
However, I was born here, which gives me the proper right to set this whole little article straight.
Wow, yet another "America is Supreme" grief complaint from a bunch of spoiled little people that feel America is the proper owner of the world. Typical, especially typical since it comes from people whose lives are largely unaffected by this "terrorism" and "Anti-American" sentiments. These are people who know nothing of true patriotism, most probably haven't done any military service, community service, or social services for the good of our nation. Instead, the lot of them are driven by greed to accumulate the most money possible in their short lifetime, which will end in death, and nothing more. What good that money did them right? So let's examine this article shall we?
> IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT
Hmm....seems that right after this it's explained that this country was made up of immigrants at one point. I suppose though since that was hundreds of years ago, only the originial founders of this country had to adapt. I suppose also that since Blacks weren't part of this group, their adapting to later become free was wrong too, better get rid of the "niggers" right America?
> possibility that our patriotism was offending others.
Well generally when people go around acting superior to others, it tends to offend them. Of course, I'm sure that such acting superior is only a "God-given right" so continue on America!
> America being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty
Sovereignty? Where? Do they mean Bush??? HA HA HA, ok that's a good one. With the exception of a few presidents, most were in a permanent power-trip, whether it meant taking over small parts of the world to getting their dick sucked by whoever
> we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle.
Which basically means: "We live to serve pop idols and anyone else born on TV, and money is the culture to live by!"
> This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.
That is an obvious lie....we fought one Revolutionary war that was for freedom. The others were for personal gain within government. Even the Civil War was mostly over slavery, because a bunch of fools wanted Blacks around to make white's lives easier. Yup, trials indeed....
> We speak ENGLISH
Actually recent stats show that over 50% of our country speaks Spanish. Every other country learns English, we however, have issues with learning even one other language...
> "In God We Trust" is our national motto
Our country was actually founded by Puritans that did a successful job of escaping Catholocism....for about 100 years when it was grounded into the simple Amish culture. As for God being part of our culture, I highly doubt that God would approve of the constant violence, sex, drugs, and hypocrisy. Hell, I even remember the Bible happening to state that several cities were destroyed for lesser behavior. But hey, the Bible isn't to be taken literally right? Ha ha....
> This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle
Actually, if you are going to proclaim freedom, then you can't say anything of that. Anyone can do whatever they want here if they are free, so in essence this is the true contradiction of this country.
So once again, America comes off as sounding conceited and whiny in an attempt at what exactly? I mean, where exactly does this fit in the big picture? Does this really solve anything? No, as usual its intolerance for difference, something this whole world shares. Amusing as usual.
