i hated it. (no offense to your opinion) i know everyone said it was soooooooo great, maybe thats why...maybe i expected too much. no no, thats not why. i just thought it sucked.

I read it not expecting anything, and I really enjoyed it. Mostly because I was able to relate so much with Holden Caulfield... so yeah, I think if I hadnt been able to relate to him so well, then I probably wouldnt have enjoyed it, either.
