Alicia, we'd like to do Jingle Bells in a round...with an interperative dance

The above subject represents the hilarity which was today's voice lesson. I had one yesterday and got a new song for my recital, and then she decided Kyle Kleschen and I are doing a duet, so I went with him to his lesson today. You guessed it: hilarity ensued. So now we've discovered that we can't be together at all without constantly laughing about absolutely nothing. We're doing either "Make Believe" from Showboat or "The Next Ten Minutes" from the Last 5 Years.(probably L5Y, since we worked on it more) Oh wow. My favorite moments were: 1. When I asked "has she ever made you call another one of her students?" and we talked about that. Cue 10 seconds later, after the phone rang, Alicia: "Cat, will you call back that number on the caller ID and tell her that she doesn't need to bring a VHS because I have one." And....cue Kyle and I laughing so hard we can't breathe. and 2. We were in the studio and Alicia was talking about Norbert Leo Butz "I think he's really handsome, in a rugged way. I think he's gay, but I still love him. But he's handsome." ummmm...In the car we discussed that Alicia is married and has 3 children. Mmm-hmmm. Best voice lesson of my life. Kyle and I definitely need to go to more lessons together, because Alicia is more crazy, but also more tolerable.

Ohhhh I love that Kyle C. and Tackett are in the same building on the same floor next year. Makes me so happy. If Deann and I get into our first choice, we'll be like 100 feet away from them, and then it will be a happy Hellgate party all the time.

Stressfest 2006 has commenced, so that's fairly exciting....I wrote my Vance final round essay about Into the Woods......Kira burned me the new Jay cd, and it's making me so happyyyyyyyyyy.....Bridget's recital tomorrow:D
