sarah mclaughlin says that love is better than ice cream AND chocolate. i really don't think she has had any chocolate lately.
rap dance party and katie's recent post about dance time made me recall a certain idea she once expressed to me during tear down...the idea (if i remember correctly) involved an orchesis dance to the tune of "renegade" complete with bodies hanging from the gallows. now, i know that is sort of morbid and disturbing - but at the same time, pretty funny and possibly a show-stopper. i'm thinking about it. kt ludwig probably wouldn't "get it" (the idea that is)...but i have a feeling kelly chappell might go for it!
i don't love richard gere the way some people do. honestly, he is sort of not that attractive. his eyes are squinty, real squinty. his lips are really thin and always doing weird smirky things. i guess he has good timing, sometimes...i still like his movies, i just don't love him.
i do still love blessed union of souls. doesn't everyone? would you keep that light burning for me? yes, of course i will. i love you guys.
today i told my theory class that ravel's "pavane..." stirs up wonderful things inside of me. they chuckled, but i was serious. go listen to it. hopefully if you have a soul, it will stir you too! maybe i just like blurred edges and constant indecision. sometimes, when i feel like a failure in the music department things like ravel and mozart and strauss remind me why i love music and making music. i wonder if 50 cent ever listens to mozart...
