Okay, I know the world will not bend to my whims, much as I would like it to. I know people will not always make allowances for me or put me first, and I know that my problems are comparatively small. I get that, I do.
But it still really upsets me that my cousin, except for leaving me a message at the end of the day congratulating me on graduating, has essentially ignored me since May. I responded to the message with an excited thank-you and a request that he call me. He didn't even dignify it with a response--not an "I'm busy" or "I'll try" or even a just plain old, "I'd rather not talk to you."
I've messaged him once since then, with the same results.
This would upset me already, but I could ignore it. But what really ticks me off is that he has time to message my other cousin! He comments on his page, and he just left him a message telling him to call him so they can figure out when they'll see each other.
I left a comment saying if he was calling family, he could call the person who'd been asking him to since she graduated in May, ended with one of these: :3
He's been on since then--he updated his status this morning--and yet still, he cannot seem to dignify this with a response.
Aside from being intensely frustrating, that hurts. I adored him growing up, and I thought he kind of adored me. Behavior indicating he doesn't anymore is kind of a slap in the face.
