Sunday with Caleb

Sep 15, 2009 01:27

Whew, taking a break from packing to try to get Sunday's photos up. But first here are some photos that Caleb's friend took while he was here. He took over 200 photos, all of which were amazing, and I picked out 20ish to share!

Oh and also on Saturday night Jason took the boys on a pub crawl! They went to 6 different pubs and had great craic (Irish for fun.), so they did. They even made a new friend, a 78 year old Irish man who keep them entertained with his wit and brogue.

Ok, so on Sunday we walked to the city hall for a walking tour. The tour guide was really nice and knowledgeable but the poor guy was blown away that so many people showed up! (75ish)Because of the crowd it was really hard to hear him but we enjoyed what we were able to learn. (I was also really excited to run into my friend Sandy there! It was great to be able to chat with her while we walked!)

We saw St. George's Church.

The Merchant Hotel

Uh...cool thingys.

Albert Clock Tower

Then we went to a Vintage Fair, which had a lot of neat (overpriced)items. But great music!

Mostly woman's stuff though so the boys didn't find much. Though Caleb did get a hat and tie.

I'd love to go back sometime when I have lots of money to spend and buy up a few of the rockin' dresses they had.

Next we walked around until we found a restaurant that was open and stumbled upon one that served local cuisine! Caleb got the steak pie.

And Addison got the Ulster Fry.

Lastly I left them at the bus station. Goodbye Caleb!
( Looking in the sun makes me looks hideous. lol )

It was so great to have company and to see family again! We were sad to see them go.

I apologizes that my descriptions have been crap lately. I'm tired.

Ok, so probably just one more post before we go and then I have no idea when I'll be back online as we'll have to get a connection set up in MN.
