So, i was talking to Petrina.... ( yes that's random) about the anime bleach. For anyone one out there who has never heard of it, which isjust about everyone who reads this thing, it seems to be about some boy who in typical anime fashion has powers of some kind that far transcend that of normal humans.
I accidentally watched the episodes out of order, because for some reason the file I DL had the ep start at 7 and work there were to 26, than ep 1, so yeah weird. But Episode one:
The anime opens with a typical anime style song, crazy flashes of the characters smiling, all except for the main character of course, who looks very serious. Crazy anime lyrics, of which i can remember none, but Petrina warned me that it was basically an anime cliche fest and that seems to be about right. The first scene has a very tell yellow haired kid beating up a gang of thugs for knocking over a vase placed on the ground. Turns out it was part of a memorium for some dead girl. blah blah blah the super good boy teaches the thugs a lesson with a flurry of kicks, and returns the vase to its original place and WAHHH!!! It's the dead girl! surprise!
A mystery girl shows up in his house later on, chasing some demon, demons are called hollows in this anime. The hollow is searching for the spirit energy, or soul, of someone with a very dense soul. Who ever could this mystery soul belong to?? It's Ichigo?? I think thats his name. My research is terrible i know, good thing no one reads this. some stuff happens and the boy is transformed into a samurai style warrior who of course, defeats the monster by hacking it to pieces, then cutting it down the middle, whereby it dissolves and the mystery chick, a soul reaper with some name i already forgot, waxes on poetic about how the boy did some stuff blah blah blah. begin crazy ending theme song with incomprehensible engrish.
When i first heard the name, i was hoping it was some kinda crazy japanese drama about laundry. For the un initiated out there, anime writers have a knack for adding oodles of drama to any situation *note the curry of life from Naruto, that saves Lee from death, and apparently tastles like fire. Made from a pile of random ingredients including whole turtle and lots of stirring*
Turns out, series has nothing whatsoever to do with bleach, not even a character named bleach, not even any bleach commercials!... as far as i know. Despite all my blah blah blah'ing of the series though, it might actually shape up into something worth watching. It's full of crazy antics typical of your average anime, but it doesn't take itself too seriously. The girl that gives the Ichigo?? his powers, tells stories through terrible drawing, and the father-son dynamic is rife with comedic allusions, all of them stereotypical father son nonsense, father jealous of son, father suspicious of son for spending too much time in his room, alone!!
Masterbation jokes aside, a show like this can get really old really quickly. And I am personally a big fan of deep stories trigun, cowboy bebop, escaflowne, evangelion. I like anime because it does what western TV often doesn't, makes ya think. Not just in a wow that was crazy, but i mean really consider the emotions of the characters. Granted there often in outrageous circumstances, plant man becomes western style gunslinger designed to protect his brother the murderous Knives, bird boy fights inside a giant dragon, space cowboy/bounty hunter/mafia man goes on adventures, holy crap im rambling. OK to the point, bleach, a maybe.
OK what else, OH! i started my new job... well i started working at a new CVS anyway. Good people, but VERY lazy. It's good in one sense because it means I dont really have to work when i dont want to, but it also means when i do want to work, i show the other people up, and kinda break up the party. And I like to work. i mean I complain about it alot, but I'de rather be working than not most of the time. I feel productive, ya know?
I'm trying to get a job at quincy hospital. I really wanna buy this mustang I found, its gorgeous. I need a car.
I applied for a job at quincy medical as a security guard. I'de like to get a job pushing the patients around. I've heard it pays well, but anything in the hospital will be good. I'm gonna take that EMT course soon, so a job at a hospital makes sense.
OK, well im out of things to talk about. Well, im not, but somethings aren't for public consumption
