well i have for the second time today found myself in the LS library
i guess an update on life is in order
i did, despite my best efforts, make the JV lacrossse team and have come to the decision that it will without a doubt be my last year playing lacrosse for lincoln sudbury as i find the politics and cliquiness as well as the entire jock metality entirely pointless and exhausting and i am disgusted by the entire establishment for the most part. if thats your thing, fine. it isnt mine. im out.
i have by some stroke of good fortune and work been selected a member of the editiorial board for the forum in the academic year 05-06 and i hope that i can live up to the responsabilities such a position demands, it is looking like i am a little in over my head right now but once all of this lacrosse bullshit has cleared itself out of my life i can get down to the things i really want to do. until then im going to have to burn the candle at both ends so to speak.
my job has fallen through because the entire chain collapsed so as of eight weeks from wensday i am officially out of a job, but thats alright as it was just a waste of time anyway. im sure i can find a better way to make money, and even though my job there was short lived i am thankful for the experience. better things in tbhe future.
as the spring approaches i am hoping to have a happier view of life in general. the past few months have been all over the chart but as far as my life goes right now i think i have things lined up in an alright direction. courses are being selected for next year, the first week of the coutdown to the end of lacrosse has been knocked off the board, my first forum meeting is due to begin in a half hour,and rob and i have had a grea half a year overall and i hope that i can look forward to more of what we have.
so from this point forward im looking out onto a spring of lacrosse, the forum, school work, enjoying the weather, and spending some quality time with my baby, and who knows maybe a backstreet boys concert this summer **allie we must look into this BSB business :)
